Sadly no mention of the photo of him with his knob out published in the "reader's own" section of a well known British "Jazz Mag". (This is true - John Meagan at Ocean showed us his copy in the late 1980's).

I think he wants to erase that from history.

Well, he's moved to New Zealand, but this 'Internets' thing, Oh, it can be a biting bitch!

Oooh... I'd heard that too... Had no evidence that it was true though.
I did mention it in the Football Manager page of the Speccy book, but only in the context of a rumour.

Even so, I think that even if I had confirmed it, a scan might have been a little too much.

The required bottle of eye bleach would've pushed up the retail price too high.

I got a complaint from Mr Toms about such information on YSAC. Unfortunately it came to me via about eight different people and was very non-specific. IIRC I panicked and deleted the entire page (or I may have just forgotten to transfer it over when I redid the site). Certainly a search for Toms doesn't turn anything up any more. I couldn't tell you if the Genesis or AmigaGuide versions contain the offending page, but I think it was added later.

Well, I phrased it such that it was most likely an ugly rumour...
However, I did suspect otherwise... I had a rather reliable source of information.

Oh it was defintely true, I saw it with my own eyes. Plus, he had his face on all his adverts and this pic of him with his todger out he had exactly the same expression as he did on his adverts!! It was as if he'd released a porno game and had a full frontal of himself on the ad, to catch ya eye like!

But who cares! It was years ago!! Poor bugger's probably sick of hearing about it every time he's mentioned!

But it DEFFO was true! I saw it! Hee hee

Hey... you don't suppose it might actually be the same photo? Maybe he never really wanted his face splurged all over those adverts. Maybe the guy who put the adverts together was an evil bastard, and kept sneaking his porno mugshot onto the ads at the last minute just to piss him off.

If you ever feel the need to show off your manhood (or ladywood) in a soft porn magazine - wear a mask and don't give out your real name and occupation. I know I didn't!

    That's not a dog-sheep!

I'm so covered in scars, and tattoos, that I can't appear anonymously in a porn film. Damn.

    LOL :D

Nevertheless, Football Manager is an excellent game and is one of the best Spectrum titles.
