    Yeah he was a great commentator, just hearing his voice takes me back to lots of sporting events. Shame.

    Did he present A Question of Sport for a while?

    It's been crap ever since Sue Barkers done it, that and seeing the audience grinning like idiots in the background.

    I meant, I watched question of sport, and don't remember him presenting it, and was expressing suprise.

    IIRC correctly it was back in the 70's before David Coleman.

    Really sad to hear this, particularly with snooker back on our screens at the moment... he will be missed.
