Yes Prime Minister.

Does anyone know any other games that are similar to this?

I love the idea of basically having to answer the right questions to stay in power etc.
I also thought the fourth protocol was a pretty cool game, anything similar to these games would be great.

    Try Killed Until Dead.

Excellent games - they both ROCK! I also enjoyed Yes Prime Minister a lot although the original TV show has never been broadcast in Italy. BTW I shudder at how a situation comedy about Italian politics would look like...

I studied a bit of Itailian politics at unversity, it sounds like a sitcom already to me ;).
Having said that though, I don't think Italian politicians are any worse than politicians anywhere, they're just more honest about being corrupt.

An Itailian version of yes prime minister would be great.

The only problem being , they would have to change the entire cast after each episode ;) heheh

    Excellent game.

Not directly relevant to your question, I thought this was worthy of a mention here anyway...

If you like being the Prime Minister but having to control inflation, unemployment, public spending etc, then try Great Britain Limited. The best I've managed is winning 3 elections on the trot but losing the fourth.

Not strictly true... the real head of State of Italy is actually Polish and has been in power since 1978 :D

I thought the film of the Fourth Protocal was sadly lacking, compared to the book, particulalry, but not exclusively the bit where the K.G.B agent deliberatley chose a crappy spy, who was bound to be caught, to smuggle one of the parts.

The game, well - I got the game, because I loved the book - and it dissapointed. I probably did not give it a fair chance though, I olayed it only briefly many years ago.
