Arkanoid on the Nintendo DS

oh dear...oh dear.:(

worst conversion of a classic game onto a new console EVER. absolutely horrible. there's 15 squid down the drain, just glad I didn't buy it new which would have probably been around the 30 quid mark Im guessing.

'Thro' The Wall' takes this pathetic attempt at a re-hash to school, and I don't say such things lightly...

i found rainbow islands the worst ds conversion...since they actually changed the way you move about on the levels :(

agreed. Although Bubble Bobble wasnt much better, but New Zealand Story was kinda bareable, even though it has been made really easy.

true, but they bunged the original in there which was well worth it, cos you can play linked up. I forced my Gf to play through all 100 levels with me.

some shit conversions out there, but some good originals like pacman, like the namco collection.

really? oh well different strokes etc...I couldnt get used to the ball disappearing halfway up the screen and re appearing on the top screen, then disappearing again as it came back down. that made it unplayable

having said that, are there possibly more than one Arkanoid on the DS? my mate said he thought Arkanoid on the DS had a rollerball controller with it, but the one I bought had no rollerball or any mention of one in the instructions

you can choose whether you use the stylus or control pad, i opted for control pad, yeah the disappearing is annoying but its part of the ds, pinball games are like it and stuff.

R4DS? (Not that I use mine for such purposes.......I don't like killing machines/companies that I like. In fact - I didn't even buy mine. Someone else got me and the girlfriend one each without even asking! Very good for homebrew and emulators though.......)
