    Ha ha ! I've got both of his books but want to keep both ! Hardcover is superb, still like the original soft cover also though !

    Hello, I just came across this books at Lulu the first time. However, great to see something like this is existing, but I wonder if really somebody pay up to 70 UKP or a book? Isn?t there a cheaper way?

    I might feel wrong, but I think it is very pricey...

    This auction for the book wasnt the ones from lulu this was Andrew Rollings book.

    The 'expensive' books you refer to are the Speccy Bible series we publish via lulu, (inspired by Andrews book), lulu is on demand printing which means we dont have to pay 2000 pounds or so up front for 400 books. Lulu only prints one when someone orders one so our costs up front are nil.

    The expensive ones are the full colour ones only, I didnt intend to sell full colour at lulu as thet are so expensive, eg for one of the books at 65 or 70 pounds we make 1.80 profit on that !

    But some people wanted full colour so i uploaded them to lulu.

    Colour covers and black and white pages are the 'normal' ones we sell at 10.95 - 12.95 depending on the amount of pages, we sell a fair few of these.

    I want to get Andrew's hardcover version but can't because I can't afford it right now. I like the paperback version despite the fact it has a few blank pages..

    Yeah the hardcover version is very nice. Must admit my soft cover version has stood the test of time perfectly. Looking forward to Andrews next book in a few months

    Yes, Andrew?s hardcover book is a superb work of art and I?m lucky to have one. Generation zx I?m sure will not disappoint.
    Didn?t by the Spectrum books yet, but I promised I would, and I will?very soon, I will.
