*sigh* There's just something alluring about her velour-erm-velvety voice.

Also ... have been listening again to TV on the Radio ... I like them ... not all of their songs but they have a bunch of gems. I like where they are going with their music and am looking forward to TV.o.t.R. v2.0 ... sometimes I do wonder if they are just SigurRos v2.0

Good call! Ain't heard them in donks.

Mind you, I don't think I have any of their stuff except High Head Blues/A Coinspiracy single.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

This one looks interesting sort of like Kate Bush/Tori Amos me thinks.

She has been putting youtube vids up for just over a year i think, and this is her from Jools Holland.

    This is an earlier one

Amorica is even better than Southern IMO. I saw them at the Royal Albert Hall when they toured for Amorica and it was fantastic.

Conspiracy and High Head Blues are great but I love Wiser Time and She Gives good Sunflower. Great Album. Great, errm, cover.

interesting, I hired a triple CD out the library las month called "Greasy Truckers Cafe" a live show from 1972 with Man, Brinsley Schwartz and Hawkwind. and Man's set is easily the best of the 3. it mentions that album you said in the liner notes

right now listening to Shimah - Strike Back
