    I had that idea about the wire, but imagined it would work with the boots...can't seem to find the second part of the puzzle you mentioned...

    On the top floor now, next to the 'entrance.' Not used any hints yet, but the coke can and screwdriver are now non-pickupable, stuck solid. Hope I don't need em anymore (screwdriver been used once already.)

    Also got stuck in the scenery myself after getting the lockpick. Ended up nailed to my own wall! :D :D

    Loving the game though, despite a few minor bugs. Needs a reset/quit button and a Ramsave option ;)

    Just wanted to say that this is a great game. Would easily have made it to my top 15 fave if it had been published in the 80s ... right now it's more like top 20 :grin:


    BTW

    Any item left by the swimming pool is dropped incorrectly, it is dropped onto the ceiling but can be picked up nonetheless.

    The reason why I am not sure whether it is used again is mainly because I remember trying using it on a wardrobe (with a talisman in it) and I don't recall seeing it ever again. Which leads me to believe that either I used it up when opening the wardrobe ... or there is another lift27-bug in that room.

    Don't worry, I've restarted the game a total of 4 times already. Twice because of the lift27-bug and because of running out of energy later.

    Love this game ... my fave in the last 5 years :grin:

    You're forgiven, though only just. :) Luckily I came here first before overwriting my previous attempt. Phew. Yep, I've had to re-start twice so far 'coz of the lift bug... But it's such a great game, I really don't mind.

    Rafal, there is a bug (I think it is stack-related) - sometimes when you take an object there are strange pixels near the bottom two lines of hero's feet. Also when this happen sometimes the doors got corrupted too (some pixels disappear from all red doors).

    Yay, got the lighter. Now I'm stuck again. Where do I need to get these three objects to create the other one? I've tried holding two of them at once and swapping around, tried to use with bits of scenery, it's just not working.

    When you pick it up walk to the left and you'll appear at starting room (if you jump, you get stuck :( ) -maybe another bug? (but this one is very useful ;) )-
