Looking for a game

edited April 2009 in Games
Hey guys. A friend is loking for a game but he can't remember the name. I'll try to describe it.

In the game you see a long map, you control a base on the left side, while the computer has its own base on the right side.
On the map you have many factories. When you control some flying machine, you can capture the base and make robots there, and you can either program him to do something or you can control him manually.
Your goal is to capture all factories and destroy the enemy.

Any hints?

    Was it isometric?

I remember playing an iso-game like that a couple years back that follows your description ... but I don't recall the name :-(

It was russian (but with english menus or perhaps no text, iIrc(it might have just been run via icons with no text)) or at least eastern european ... sorry, it's been a while.

Does look interesting - the description reminds me of one of my favourite Playstation games 'Carnage Heart'. That was a turn-based battlefield strategy game with factories turning out squads of robots. The real novelty though was you could write your own programs for the robots to follow in battle, and doing it well could tip you an advantage.

Damn, one i knew and was too slow.

I used to love Nether Earth, has to be one of the first RTS games.

My top tactic was make a robot at the very start and give it orders to go to the next big factory, then get the hover thing you control and stick it in the entrance of the factory until your bot gets there. Game is easy after that!
