Took you all night to put that together, right? ... I still don't believe you are Jonnathon Smifth.

I did notice something interesting on the first page though ... but anyone and their hamster can draw a sheepdog ;-)

    BTW ... when's Tarbook - Part 2 coming out?
  • edited April 2009
    Why so serious?

This is cool, Jof. The sort of thing I'd love to see in Retro Gamer...

Do people honestly dont believe it if Joffa ?! Crazy

    Fascinating stuff seeing those
  • edited April 2009
The sad thing is, frobush genuinely believes he is Joffa.
    *sigh*

Who is joffa? I thought that was a biscuit with a fruity filling.

I know for a fact that this tarball thing is a fake ... Jonathin Smifh never received a PhD, let alone finished high school ... Hah! Fakery of the highest order! The frontpage says Dr. so-and-so! How rude to the memory of Mr. Smithe! Plus, why would he write NEW when it's supposed to be 20 years old!

    No, that's a Jaffa Cake.
I think Joffa was the moody guard in Stargate..?

I always wondered what were in the Jaffa cakes...

    Stuff from my TARBOOKS!

    Sob, Sob!

(Please tell me I've remembered something right! Something important ...)

Actually, a quick glance at those books reminds me of your utter genius. Barking f*cking mad, mind, and a probable danger to yourself ;-) but talent lasts.

Those artworks are a revelation of sorts. Not only a talented coder but a talented artist too by the looks of it. A very hard to find combination!

Believe me, he is. rockstar? Oh, my word.

(By the way, I'm not making fun of you, just poking fun at Jof. He can take it)

More to come - Saucer stuff and videos of behind the scenes at Special FX.

And I'll scan them all in the end - but just haven't the time or patience or good internet access anymore. When that will change is anybodys guess! I'll try and visit a couple of times each week.

jez that'd take a bit of doing and since time and patience are on short supply it'll make for a lot of angry comments in the PDF document when completed!

so what's wrong with the interweb connection? where i live we pay a minimum of 4 times the price (compared to anywhere in England) to get access to the outside, but we pay it just to get it. not that i'm suggesting you are not paying for interweb

EDIT: good images - will scrutinise later - doing work now...

Fascinating. Look forward to seeing the complete scans. Oh, and I'd like to be the first to nominate Blimp as the next project.

    Genial genius!

Only a crazy madman would waste as much time as this "Jof" user has ... and for what? Some crazy meaningless scribbles on paper ! ! !

Suffice to say I wish JoeNathan Smythe would pop up and pop "Jof" a hefty one-two on each cheek! And a couple kicks on the other cheeks!

i definitely love the images posted here, but unfortunately i'm finding it difficult to read the notes. i think they could be double the size for legibility. the compression level would probably be okay. i guess the camera takes larger images and you used a batch converter to take them down in size?
these ones are fine, because it's a smaller note book.

The original images are huge and have been cut down by about 90%!

I'll be able to use my terminal tomorrow (Friday 1st May) till Tuesday, so I'll be able to have access to my site (I've been using the local library and everything is blocked) and do a load of website updates and scans and stuff.
