PC Format is CRAP
I've been on the World of Spectrum forum for a while now, and absolutely everybody is brilliant, really friendly, willing to help, funny and witty and Joffa Smith is just the best comedic donkey I've ever met (textually, I did meet Steve Coogan once--- and then I taught with his niece in a school, really, honest, who said his greatest joy in life was sharing a hot tub with Arnold Schwarzenegger!!!)..... ((actually, that's Coogan, not Smiff, unless in a great freak accident of coincidence Jof has ALSO shared a hot-tub with the Great Steroid himself))...
Anyways---The other day I did something I'd been toying with for several years (whiskey=time delay in life). I logged onto the PC Format forums... and you know something? What a bunch of arseholes. Where was the fun sense of being "in" something together, in some twisted homage to the WWI trenches? Where was the fun? The banter? The sense of people willing to help?
Well, PC Format can shove their subscription up their rather large and expansive backsides, and I'll just stick to WoS from now on --where people are nice. And DM Boozefreak speaks Geordie to you (if you're dead lucky).
I am getting on a bit now. Where's me slippers?

As for redneck I generally avoid them they offend me, I may be a scumbag but I pride myself on having a modicum of intellingence even though I come from a lowly background, wheras these numnuts are proud to be worse than shit, and also quite proud that they sleep with their cousins (and sometimes their sisters).

Yes PCF on a doward slippery slope for years, with Villazon the only saving grace. I suppose that's why circulation figures have plummeted from 105,000 to 18,000 - you do the math at ?6.49 an issue! I think it was the hairline trigger on the gun. Bang! PCF dead.
Monster Munch seems a very very long time ago. It took me the full 6 weeks of my summer holidays to write that, with about 5 weeks of it spent saving, compiling, and loading. Oh how I envied Raf Cecco his IBM hard disks, the bastard. Although he could keep his red Ford Fiesta any day (my yellow Datsun would beat it hands down!).
