I met a few at the 2005 ORSAM meet (though we were all mostly ex-CSSers at that point).

I know Woodster, he's a "top lad" as the young people are wont to say these days - he lived around the corner from me right up until he didn't. I don't believe I've ever actually met any of the other ZXSpin team members, but I suspect I shall one day.

    You again eh!

I love games as much as the next man but when you do nothing but play games 24/7 its a bit sad and anyway i wouldnt want that its not healthy im sure the people here play loads of games but they have a balance like kids a wife etc. Games are great fun but they arent everything.

How do you know who plays games 24/7 and that they think it's everything? Again with your assumptions when confronted with someone of superior intelligence and knowledge.

Well some people have admitted to being addicts or spending all their time online so i can only go on what i see unless they are lying which i guess is possible.

I'll tell you one thing though Toxie knows his Speccy even if it isn't his primary machine of choice. I'll also be happy to wibble on about weird or obscure games on the Speccy or not, I'm well happy to do that.

The Speccy is my primary 8 bit machine of choice, mate. Asides from my old desktop PC and the laptop I'm on now, I've never owned any other computers, only consoles. I was still regularly playing on my Speccy and buying new games for it right up until Your Sinclair died, which was when I finally decided to call it a day and concentrate on the console stuff instead.....I've really gotten back into my old Speccy games thanks to emulators though :)

I appear to be something of an enigma to you....one minute you're accusing me of being on forums 24/7, the next playing games 24/7. You already know I've got a job to go to (I still don't believe you actually work until you put your allegedly vast amount of Euros where your mouth is and give us all even a vague idea of what you do asides from troll forums all day, but there you go....) and unless you're blind as well as stupid, then you might have even seen me talk about other activities in my life. You know, the ones that are done in the fresh air and sunshine outside of the house....something that you don't seem to have much experience of....you know, I kind of like the fact that you don't know anywhere near as much about me as you'd like to.

Now go back to your main hobby of trawling through my posts from weeks ago, looking for something to have an arguement with me about, you complete and utter faliure.

You really are a bottom feeder.

What is your history with women?

Also, why do you have to suck the ass of every mod before you insult someone, it's not a get out of jail free card - you tried it on RG and WG and it backfired miserably.

Say whatever the hell you like because everybody on here knows I'm divorced, it's no secret, and certainly nothing I'm ashamed of, unlike you appear to be with your life. They all know on pretty much every other forum that I go on as well because I'm not a slimy, prodding, poking, trolling little snot that sits asking questions, refuses to get actively involved in any discussions, sits there judging other people and then dishes insults out. Hell, at least I've got proof that I've had more success with women than you'll ever have, even if it is only photos and divorce papers

You see, that's one of the things about me that you don't like....that I have a life and can back anything I say up, whether it's good experiences or bad that I've had. You, are pretty much the physical incarnation of 'vapourware'...all this 'I have a good job, earn much wonga!' nonsense, and 'I have a life beyond trolling internet forums' with nothing to verify it. You're a doleite, anybody with an ounce of sense can see that. You're more than a faliure actually, you're an Epic Faliure....no job, no girlfriend, no life beyond your Playstation 3 and your laptop

If we want to reveal embarassing things about people, how about people who crawl back onto forums that they've been banned from and flame themselves in a pathetic attempt to get back in with the crowd. That whole 'gamingsdevil' thing you did on the Retro Gamer forum was beyond pathetic. And you were immediatly banned again

And you didn't expect to see me on here? What a load of crap. So you just randomly found a forum about a subject you've never had an interest in (Spectrums) and decided to immediately sign up without even having a look at recent topics and posts? Do you realise how ludicrous that sounds and how amazingly stupid that makes you look to everybody else?

Anyway, I didn't tell you that I 'used to be a games addict', I said that my missus cited it as a reason for wanting a divorce whilst she was shagging another bloke behind my back. It was a load of bull and I did her for adultery. The end. Stop twisting my words for once in your sorry life.

Well, I don't have a job, or a girlfriend and will openly admit to being addicted to games!!

But I do have a life away from the keyboard/Xbox/Speccy as well, and could (if I wanted) back it up with Facebook photos...:)

I don't understand how being someone who plays a lot of games or spends a lot of time on forums is considered to have no life...Being online, forums or gaming, they probably have more social interaction than most people who come in and sit arguing with their wife over watching footy or "Britains Got Talent"..Also, if like me you don't work, you can spend hours playing games and still go and socialise at night and the weekends quite happily (well, apart from lack o' funds!)...

Oh, and I'll ignore your implied remarks that being a doleite makes you an "epic failure", Toxie..I can tell you get rather heated when Krusty is around ;)

Being a single doleite doesn't make you a faliure at all.

Being a single doleite who blatently lies about having a job that 'pays a lot of wonga' on internet forums, and aiming nasty personal insults at people that you percieve to be 'below' the ficticious status that you've invented for yourself pushes you into the catagory of Epic Faliure though, as well as having such little life of your own to speak of that you keep asking people for details about theirs.

Krusty40 actually reminds me a hell of a lot of Eric Idle's character in this sketch

See thats pathetic Krusty. So what if someone is divorced ? Many people are here, the main mod who runs the forum is divorced, so are you going to bleat on about his track record ? At least he talks about women, you've never given anything away (as usual). Its like you live at home and your parents say 'now Leslie, make sure you dont give anything away, dont give out anyyyy personal details....', talk about taking it to extreme !

There are a couple of people I'd like to meet on here that's for sure. I did go to a convention thing once to sell the fanzine but it really wasn't my thing. I like retro stuff but like, not that much.

Yeah sorry about that, it was rude of me to forget my wallet and my 'Frankie says relax' t-shirt had a huge stain on it.

I did try to apologise to you at the time

    It's Lister! Run away!!! :p

Haven't met anyone from WoS yet but I'm really looking forward to the retro show. It will be great to finally put faces to the names. Hopefully I haven't made any enemies in here. ;)

I met up with several from my friends from Second Life in Holland in March and it was great fun. :)
