i'd give plenty to shoot the dog next door to me barking all bloody day. edit: shoot the owners. They NEVER take the poor thing out for a walk - a bloody alsatian as well.

No seriously i'd rather give to human charities.

    Why?

What difference does it make if I eat meat? I'd rather see a stray dog fed than click an ad on a website that gives some spotty dickhead a penny to fund his porn site!

Eating meat has bugger all to do with it, dogs eat meat, would you take a meal away from them because of that?

So because of some idiot owners you want this poor dog shot ? Hes barking as he wants attention, wants to go out and not be bored shitless in the yard the poor thing.

Dont be bloody stupid, granted the dog might be better off at a dog sanctuary and get rehomed than this lazy family. Dont take it out on the dog though, the people are the idiots here. Be a man and have a word with them about their dog instead of sitting there whinging and hoping to shoot it.

And yes i eat meat, to me theres a difference between a cow or a pig and my pet dog. Stupid comment

I give to human charities and also animal ones. But moaning about clicking on a link (whether its for animals or humans) once a day is stupid

Yes, I want the dog shot. I do not value its life. Just like you do not value the lives of the cows you eat. I think of dogs like you think of cows.

when you kill a cow it has a use, it feeds people. you having a dog killed serves no purpose but to satisfy your own blood lust.

this say more about your sick mind than it does about a meat eater.

luckily we live in a country where the stuff you fantasise about is against the law.

Well thankfully sick fuckers like you dont have a dog. Seriously look at what youre writing, you dont like this dog so you want it dead. You dont value its life.

I do hope youre writing this just for effect, if you do want the dog shot just keep those sick twisted things to yourself.

Every day you hear about a cat being shot by some kids, or a swan having an arrow through its head or wing by some kids thinking its funny. They dont value these animals lifes either hence they do these sick things. I think its great if children have a pet dog or cat, they grow to love them and not turn into some sick chav who wants to kill animals for fun or 'they dont value its life'. I mean how bloody stupid is that ? Twat.

Thankfully most people dont think of dogs as you think of them as cows. And please, if you ever come near Manchester pay me a visit.

If you have these weird twisted thoughts, what is the point of you mentioning it on here ? Just to wind up animal lovers ? You've got nothing better to do with your time than to write some sick crap to wind people up ? Freak.

How are you an animal lover if you aid in the killing of cows? I worked in a chicken factory once and I tell you, Its utterly brutal. genuinely don't understand this. I'll stop posting if its upsetting you. Please answer the question tho, because to me you're a dog lover, but not an animal lover. You happily eat the dead flesh of animals ffs and enjoy it. Animals that have been killed just for you! How on earth can you claim to be an animal lover? You call me sick!

Not liking them is one thing, saying you want one shot because you don't value it's life is probably what caused the ball rolling on that one.

As for soya milk yeuch rather you than me, and I don't even drink regular milk I can put skimmed on my cereal and that's about it, on it's own it's vile.

People are having animals killed because they want to eat them! eat them! Chew them up and ingest them! Chew Chew bet that tastes nice. Dead flesh. My god. And feel satisfied afterwards. Lovely. I'm not saying you because I dont know whether you choose to do that.

I don't eat the dead flesh of animals. I don't know whether you do or not. But how on earth can you tell me I'm wrong when these people (you might be included, you might not dunno) actually support the industry which (they might tell you otherwise but I know those poor bastards suffer). They pay for those animals to suffer.

Yeah I hate that dog next door to me. But the poor cows never did anything to non veggies. Why do you want to kill them???. When did you see a cow taking the face off a young kid?

Don't preach to me if you volunterily eat meat. If you do you are a hypocrite.

I'm guessing I am the only one here that has actually shot a dog.

Dogs are a far better species than we are. As someone once said, dogs have the good attributes of mankind, but none of the bad. They are loving, without being jealous, they are brave without being boastful, they are loyal without being possessive, they are friendly without being demanding, forgiving without being sanctimonious and so on.

You'll never have a human friend as loyal or devoted as a dog, that's a fact.

As to why self-proclaimed animal lovers like me and most of the people I know eat meat, the only answer I can give to that is "hypocrasy". Whilst I recognise that all life has the right to eat other life to survive (it's the most fundemental right of all), it's a fact that we don't have to eat meat at all any more, we can all live on vegatables and non-animal carcase products now. Yet we choose to ignore this and still consume meat, simply because we enjoy it. And it is morally wrong, since we are causing suffering to intelligent (pigs and other mammals, at least) living creatures simply for our own pleasure. And that makes hypocrates out of all of us who claim to love animals, who take good care of our pets, who denounce "blood sports" and other animal cruelty, yet who buy and eat meat which comes from slaughtered animals who are very often reared in terrible conditions to maximise financial profit.

I know all this (it's my only hypocrasy, so far as I know) yet I do it anyway. As do many other people, some of them genuinely very decent people. There's nothing I can say to lessen my guilt, yet I'll still go on eating meat.

I have often thought, though, that if I ever saw an animal slaughtered then I would turn vegitarian. And maybe if vegitarian "meat" came down in price then I would stop eating real meat (some of the "meat" I've had from vegetarians is very nice, and does taste like real meat, but it's expensive). But, of course, I shouldn't need an impetus, I should stop eating meat now. Or rather, when I was old enough to think and choose for myself of course. But I won't.

As Arthur C. Clarke once said, if aliens ever visit us and judge us on our actions, we've no moral defence to offer at all.

Tell that to a mother who's child has been torn apart by a dog.
I wanna tell you a story 'bout a woman I know...
