The original Assault on Precinct 13 has aged badly. The plot, the action sequences etc, are all pretty dire, yet with it's synthesizer soundtrack still is watchable.

...and the scene with the rather cold hearted murder of a little girl, in graphic "Oh my god-o-vision!". :D
    Every night is curry night!

"The Thing" doesn't seem as scary as when I first saw it.
Would love to see "The Dolls" again as well as "Driller Killer" and "Creepshow".

I love the original zombie film, Dawn of the dead is it (The one where they're in a shopping mall), think that's aged alright. The sequel in the bunker i wasn't that keen on.

The original was "The Night of the Living Dead".

Some movies age a bit, but even in this day, whenever I see Aliens (or Alien for that matter) I just think how good, atmospheric and badass it still is.

Although I love the films, I don't think 'Aliens' ever looked that good. The 'Thunderbirds' style vehicles and explosions always made me cringe, (although the Jordan tractor looked cool,) and the stuntmen wearing just alien heads and stuck-on hoover tubes wasn't at all convincing f'me, but then I've seen it well over 160 times. Aliens really needs to be re-made!

And while they're at it, someone can re-do that shoddy film series, 'Star Wars.' Do it right this time!

    And STILL NO 'LOGAN'S RUN?'

    Creature from the Black Lagoon...
    Forbidden Planet...

Hey Zorky, You ordered Rotld 3 yet?

still awesome (made the year before i was born, 41 year old) but STILL racked with tension and gory, is old, looks old but is still quite "modern" if that makes sense, mustve been hell watching that when it first came out

i watched it on my DS ages ago. you can download quite a few free films now for the DS, all out of copyright, driller killer was one.

i thought i prefered the remake of notld, but that has ages badly. no doubt they will give the whole franchise a reboot in the next decade, which isn't a bad thing as the zombie invasion premise is always facinating. i suppose it's the whole 'what would i do in that situation'. no one really thinks 'what would i do if i was in a creepy mansion and they was a bloke there who might be a vamipre' i heard ages ago that they were gonig to make a film of world war Z, but not sure how far they would get. personally i think they show make the 'monster...' trilogy. they were great zombie books and gave a fairly decent explanation of how the zombie plague started and how the government dealth with it.

Been really disappointed with the last zombie film or two, was quite excited to hear there was a new zombie film the other year, was totally dire. One was like a crappy big brother/reality show one, the other had some big stars but was just terrible. Shame

i only watch night all the way through, and that had its ending, i watched a bit of driller killer, but i turned it off after 20 mins as it looked hella-crappy. the only other thing i watched on it was 300, but that was off a dodgy site.

Don't blame you... utter s***, Ferrarra's worst film (in my opinion). Made before battery drills, however, you do have to admire the killer's seemingly infinite extension lead!!

Is there a bit In Return of the Living Dead where they are at a door, and one of them opens it and a zombie comes running in? Then one of them takes it's head off in 1 blow but the body keeps on running at the other person??

I remember seeing a film with this bit in, but cannae remember its name...
