Choplifter

Yesterday I found the Spectrum Version of Choplifter (hacked version, no screen, no credits) in my collection of tapes, which I currently TZX-ing. After it was not on the infoseek, I uploaded it. Does someone know if Spectrum Choplifter was a official conversion? It looks very professional, but I cannot remember any review of it. Maybe someone can remember a review?

I don't know anything about it, just that it isn't present here :) I guess it isn't official release as it would be mentioned somewhere.

    I can see 2 possibilities:

    1) It is homebrew production

    2) It is another game with changed name (hackers did such things).

Maybe you could show us a screenshot here?

Oh, thank you, 2 is it, this time after I started the game to make a screenshoot, it was looking a bit different from before, and very familar... Mentioning the possible title change (Who is that "Kicia?") I remembered the real name of the game. It was "Desert Hawk".

And Kicia, for those of you who don't know was a Polish hacker/cracker active in the end of 80ties who committed also a few demos:

I guess that he decided that giving to a game a better known name would make sales of his hacked games better.
