Mind-reading

edited July 2009 in Chit chat
Ok - so it's Friday and nearly the end of my working week.

To celebrate I'm having a mind-reading challenge: I'm thinking hard about a particular edible item (nothing rude, before we get diverted!!) and I've also reinforced the name of said item by writing it on a post-it note and sticking it to my monitor.

So.....who can guess what it is tha I'm visualising.......

I don't think this works on a web forum, haven't we got to look into your eyes or hold your hand or something?

No, not a turnip or a kebab.

    Keep 'em coming....

You could place your hands against the screen and feel the vibrations in lieu of holding hands..... ;)

You can help by hinting whether we are on the right track ("hot" or "cold")!

Don't lie just to keep the game going. You know I'm right. Start again with something else. It had to be turnip.

Sorry for delay in response, chaps, normal work getting in the way.

Now, back to the more interesting things - some good suggestions but none right so far. Keep on trying....

Good idea for the "hot or cold" prompts.....errrr, almost all cold at the moment. Ironically the nearest (broadly) is Jumping Stack's turnip, but let me assure you that my item is not, and never has been, a turnip

Let me give you a hint - it's a natural item, rather than a man-made one (like a pizza, or kebab)......

    That's just rude!

Nope, no weed.....it's nothing whatever to do with Bill & Ben, the Flowerpot Men

Ooops - we've gone all vegetable.

I should have been clearer - more on the right lines with the grapes/apples than with the carrot.

Btw - is rhubarb a vegetable or a fruit? I love rhubarb, me.....
