I dont see the problem with the Chit Chat section, its the most active part of the forum, people are friendly (and a fair few meet at various social gatherings). I have no interest in some of the techy 'code' type threads/sections so i dont post in them. I cant stand Dr Who but simply ignore that thread instead of going off on a rant about how crap the program is in my view.
As for being child friendly I still think WOS is for adults, a kid or two might look at the forums but when the average age is in the 30's i dont think we should have to cater for a couple of youngsters who come here.
I missed what this thread was originally about before it was all censored, totally agree any dodgy porn type pics etc shouldnt be on here, if you want to find that type of stuff its easy to find elsewhere.
But either way top marks to the mods, not an easy job to do and they do a great job.

It started as a discussion on one of the less common activities that consenting adults engage in in the privacy of their own homes. I think someone posted a very inappropriate photo, at which point the mods rightly stepped in.
Yeah i've never posted a dodgy photo here, plenty of places to look at those if you want to.
Gets a bit depressing hearing people moan about the Chit Chat section though, if this 'spread' to all other parts of the forum then fair enough but if you dont want to read the latest big brother thread or that just dont read it in Chit Chat.
Instead people moan and gripe about the 'few' who are 'ruining' it for everyone else. I know many people who have joined WOS as they know its a great friendly community where you can have a good chat and also talk about Speccy games.
The 'few' who are strict and dont like any non-Speccy chat are the ones ruining it and giving us retro gamers a bad name.
The more people the better who go to the next retro show, always good to meet up with fellow Speccy fans, just i think theres some people who wont go as theyre not used to social situations which is quite worrying.
