    Well, as much as I think Scottie deserves to get some sort of prize, mainly because he actually won the last but one competition and I adjudicated and made myself the winner, I think this is a poor effort.

    Now I could go into analising the text and pull it apart, but that would be churlish and childish!

    So, where do we go from here?

    Now. Its clear that there would be some sort of backlash reguarding the choice of the winning entry. However. There is a fine line between being funny and being clever. And this is where I have to draw the line.

    I thought miles was the funniest, and most offensive at the same time, that should've won, just for pure risk taking ;)

    I think we need more players...? It has sort of shrunk into the usual crowd a little.

    What does everyone think about a rule limiting the winners to encourage others? Something along the lines of there has to be at least 2 competitions inbetween your wins? So if Scottie won one and handed over, Scottie cannot win the next compo...?? Can still play if they want for the comedy factor like but cannot be the winner...

    Yeah, there needs to be some sort of rules. One go etc (I break this all the time).

    OK, revised rules are:

    10 PRINT "Winner is decided by current holder"
    15 PRINT "ONE caption per picture per participant"
    20 PRINT "Current holder can decide winner whenever they please"
    25 PRINT "Current holder cannot chose previous holder as winner"
    30 PRINT "Next winner becomes holder and posts a piccy"
    40 GOTO 10

    Let's see how it goes...

    Get a piccy up Scottie lad...:grin:

    Rule 15 could be left out. I'm ok with the other ones though. I don't mind people dropping several captions, sometimes it takes a few goes to get a good one ( Errr ... ? -Ed )

    How about allowing multiple captions but only the most current one stands?
