I read an interesting statistic the other day. Apparently 99.9% of species that have lived on earth are now extinct.

    It seemed fine right up to the point that they implied it was in some way relevant to conserving wildlife.....

    91% of all humans who have ever lived are now dead apparently, what's more surprising to me is that the 6 billion currently alive represent 9% of all homo sapiens who have been born.

    Actually reading the papers today, it's nothing to do with the World Wildlife Fund. Somebody just produced this sad video, using their logo, in the hope that they would get their advertising account. End of.

    Not necessarily. An agency did do a print ad on this theme for WWF which was printed in Brazil and quickly withdrawn. They claim to have nothing to do with the video version though. At least, according to the Grauniad...
