You know when you're a Speccy nut when you're doing a presentation for 100+ people and show slides of your first attempts of making pixelfonts on the Speccy.
... you actually 'listen' to the loading sounds and sometimes if even for a brief moment there is a sound that makes you go, "That sounds just like a part from 'some' song!" or "That sounds musical!".
You know you're a Spectrum nut when:
... and then you try to make loading sounds as close as possible on your electric guitar.
You know you're a Spectrum nut when:
... you actually try to load the simulated loading sound you made onto a Spectrum and you're surprised you are actually getting the initial blue and red stripes and then flabbergasted when you start to get blue and yellow ones and you're wondering what the heck is gonna happen.
You know you're a Spectrum nut when:
... you actually get a Program: ?????????? out of it and some jibberish in the editor before you get a R: Tape Loading Error.
You know you're a Spectrum nut when:
... you get depressed because you were never able to do it again and thought you could actually make a program that made sense, even if it was just 10 REM
...Your kids want you to join them in a 3v3 game on the net (usually warcraftIII)..but you are unable to as you are busying yourself with 3D deathchase. My kids look at me with a mixture of awe and fear.."youre playin erm that..."
Oh,by the way Alessandro you are not alone in your voice immitation of the speccy loaders!I myself once indulged in that amusing pastime.Visiting this sites is like going to Alcoholics Anonymous.."Hi,My names Jon and I do loader imitations Blurrr Bleep!Blurrrrrrr BLeeeepeeeBleepBLeeeBBBlluurr.
