lol, you're at the other end... nearly 10,000 means you're approaching god-like status

maybe WOS should erect an 8-bit statue in your honour...

In that case I'm a Demi-God, and karingal has already made the ascension ;)

maybe you're like the St. Peter of WOS, and Karingal is the 'Joseph'

    Sir Clive is obviously Jesus.

if it came to a nativity play I could probably bag the part of 'Shepard #4' or something

I think it would be fun if an admin actually reduced the postcount. :D

You can do that yourself by deleting your own posts.

It got changed after he did it. IIRC he was the catalyst for its removal. You can delete but only within 24 of making the post IIRC.

I think we should have a World of Spectrum Casino where we can gamble out post counts on the slots, or play poker with each other.

On an old forum I used to be on, FGN - FootyGamerNetwork - a Football Manager forum, we used to have a monthly BUMM...now hear me out and stop giggling!

BUMM was Best Under-appreciated Member of the Month.

Basically every month posters would be nominated for their contribution in the previous month and then the board would vote for them. We used to do it in the style of a knockout tournament as it was a football manager site see...start with top 8 noms then have 4 matches, a semi then a final. Nominees could vote on other peoples "matches" but not their own.

Whoever won BUMM that month got a lovely set of 4 big fat arses under their avatar for the duration.

It offered nothing more than a pat on the back for your efforts, but it was a bit of fun when you were involved. Some months it never ran so the holder might be the BUMMer for another month.

I'm also pretty certain that FGN used a prior version of vBulletin so putting BUMMs under someones avatar should be possible on here.

Could be a laugh...especially as some peoples reasons for nominating are sometimes quite original in themselves.

Hmmm, but if you win then you're not under-appreciated...

No, but it wasn't always the usual crew that won it.

Maybe it only worked on FGN
