Nature of the beast. I am employed to go in somewhere and do a particular job. When that finishes then so do I.
In the last couple of years almost all my contracts have been 3 months so an average of 4 jobs a year isn't unusual at the moment.
When you know your job has a limited lifespan you take a very outlook on being unemployed, its an occupational hazard and you don't worry about it. Make sure you have a couple of bob in the bank to tidy you over 'till the next job turns up and your allright.
Considering that even at the moment I am getting job offers every week I'm not too worried about the next contract.

Interesting that update of the shop, any preview of the games you are gonna sell?? I already wanted to do an order, but I will wait. Is it gonna be soon?
I don't normally sell any Ultimate dupes because they are worth more to me for trading but I have just had a quick look and the highlights of my dupes at the moment are.... Fumigator & Trans-America, 3 x Bubbler, Knightlore on Famicon Disc and MSX cart, Cosmic Battlezones and a couple of collected works. As these are all Ebay "high value" they are good for trading when I can get a title I need for my collection. AFAIK I am still short of a few of the Spanish releases and probably some compilations so trading is always the preferred option for me.

I have about 2500 spares to get sorted out and listed at the moment. There are some interesting collectors items including a few MIA's. (These are already preserved, waiting for the next Vault update).
I will make a list available for download as soon as everything is sorted out and expect it to have at least 1000 titles not already listed on the shop. I expect to do most of the preparatory work early in December and then code the shop over Christmas. I won't be sending any orders out over Christmas (I will be away) and expect it to go live probably in the second week in Jan when I get home.

I too would like bubbler, I have heard that it is not a great game to play, but I collect and I don`t have it either. I know that it usually goes for about ?60 so I won`t be getting it for a while yet, unless I strike lucky at a car boot sale !

While I wouldn't mind having people posting in my sales thread even if they weren't planning on buying anything, I can understand how some sellers may feel if their original thread deviates from the original purpose. Maybe sales threads could be opened with an optional request to lock them and all communication would be done privately.
There was a time where I was spending 50 pounds or more for each Interface 2 cartridge or original Ultimate medium box games, but that time is gone now. I also remember a time when I was crazy enough to offer 500USD for a ZX81 interface (and the seller said 'no').
Most WOSsers will probably want to buy one or more items, but not the entire collection. But the seller has the right to decide how he would like to sell it.
So, without pointing any fingers, I hope the seller finds what he's looking for. As for me I'll keep selling them on eBay. As any investment it has its risks, but it can be done with a fixed price and if someone wants to buy it, they do. Some sales are better if done outside of forums.
