Pc200
Is there anyone who can tell me what a PC200 is worth? I can buy one, it would be fun to add to my collection, but I have no idea of the collector's value. Actually I haven't seen many for sale in the past few years, same as the ZX88, although I understood that that last one is only worth a few bucks...

It doesn't seem to be a very useful machine, but as a collector's item: Go for it.
When I picked it up the lady selling it said that it belonged to her husband and that he was looking for the manuals and disks. I left her with my address and a couple of weeks later I got the books and software in the post, with it was a letter from the guy who said that he used to work for a Cambridge based company that developed and made hardware for the QL and PC200; he went on to say that if I was interested in some other hadware to get in touch. Unfortunately he didn't include his address.
Mystery QL developer, if you are out there please get in touch.
The machine is fun to mess around with and I use it to run programs that I wrote in my collage days where we used Amstrad 1640s to learn to program in 'Pascal'
