Your views on: Play It Again Sam...

... just curious to see what people think really. I've been toying with the idea of making a text adventure in PAW (it'd be my first), and I thought I'd try to make a kinda unofficial sequel to something, simply because that way I've already got characters and something of a plot to work with. I know Play It Again Sam is far from being one of the best text adventures out there, but I've always had a soft spot for it, even if only because of it's detective/film noir/gangster subject matter.

Like I say, just wondering what the spec-chums think of it... :-)

    Go for it! The more text adventures, the better! Also, the more 'unofficial' you make it, the better your chances of getting it published. There's a distinct lack of new real-media text games. ;)

    I've still got part 2 of my one to finish.

    Cheers Graz. I think I will go ahead with it... I've got a plot for the game unfolding (slowly) in my head, just gotta try and figure out some puzzles to fit around it all. Once I've sussed that out, I'll start penning the map for it... we'll see how it goes I guess. :smile:

    And if it ends up being really crap, I'll just submit it to CSSCGC 2010!! :grin:
