Naked Video. It was a scotish comedy sketch show. Its how the character RAB. C. Nesbit came about.

FWIW their is a great Sinclair cameo in this clip. ;)

I remember that! I imagine that it's not aged too well though...

I'd love to see a re-run of the first couple of Knightmare series. The last few were rather poor I thought, but the early ones were great.

Another program that I'd like to watch again is Supergran, but again, that's probably aged rather badly too

*EDIT* Supergran has been released on DVD...

Supersonic or even the Tube or even Old Grey Whistle Test or even razamatas or even ( well any of the old music shows ). Perhaps even Eldorado with a comedy voice over, that would be classic !

For me the main tv show I'd like repeated it 'the Goodies' (Bill Oddie ... and ummm some other comics) - My Dad reckoned it was one of the best comedy shows on the BBC when it came out. But for some reason it doesn't get reshown in the UK so I've never seen it.

I've also never seen 'Q' (Spike Milligan?!) - but to be fair I've never looked that hard. Come to think of it there are quite a few British comedy series that don't get repeated much. I'd much rather see some episodes of Citizen Smith than Only Fools and Horses.

I second Bermondsey Bob on Knightmare. I remember series 3 being the best and it being downhill from there. I hated it when that whole 'eye-shield' thing started.

Think a lot of old TV shows have really aged badly, would love to see the Word back on tv, found that show very funny, perfect program on a friday night after you leave the pub. Great bands on it, some controversial interviews etc. Excellent stuff

Only 2 DVDs with 4 or 5 random episodes each were released, then nothing. :-?

    "Dear John"

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dear_John_(UK_TV_series)

Great series by the creator of Only Fools and Horses, which was cut short when Ralph Bates (who played John) died aged 51.

Still waiting for them to release this on DVD...

dunno if you ever saw the live at wembley video of newman and fat bloke? if you did, he made an off key joke.. from then I have no time for him..

Rob Newman is Mr Eco now?!?!

as for Baddiel the **** the less he is on TV the better.

ANGELS! the pre-Casualty nursey show, featuring the yumpy pumpy Fiona Fullerton as a young posh nurse. Pure fiction of course.

nah the live at wembley thing years ago.. for what he said.. well he needed a good kicking.. if you saw it , you remember it for that ONE joke(?)

there are very few things you don't joke about and he did one of them... a few of the audience spoke up as well at the time..

I remember watching the re-run Q on BBC2 and found it really funny although some bits were a bit too wierd. I'd love to see if again but i don't think it's even on dvd.

Knightmare was brilliant, used to watch that when having my dinner. It went downhill after they brought this troll guy who would help the contestants. They should bring it back.

The Mad Death???? Thank you Thank you Thank you!! I've been trying to remember the name of that tv show for years. I remember that one, saw it when i was about 10, about the spread of rabies in the UK. Don't think it's been shown since.

I wish they would reshow Top Of The Pops they could show 4 different episodes one after the other but 10 years apart. I can just imagine it.

    Its jan 1st 2010

    6.30 till 8.30 on Sunday BBC 2

    Top of the Pops Generations

Episode 1 first broadcast on 1960 jan 1st
Episode 2 first broadcast on 1970 jan 1st
Episode 3 first broadcast on 1980 jan 1st
Episode 4 first broadcast on 1990 jan 1st

and then each week show the following episode from each year.

But of course it won't happen in a million years :(

Knightmare was shown on Challenge a few years back. Hasn't really aged well, but probably more amusing for the hair cuts and naff clothes!

I want to see The Adventure Game again, I can only remember vague things about it, but I do remember enjoying it.

    --edit--
and anything with Kenny Everett. He was always mad.
Oh, no. Every time you turn up something monumental and terrible happens.
I don’t think I have the stomach for it.

I've got some Goodies episodes on DVD, including 'Kitten Kong'. Although you'll find Bill Oddie making a disturbed lunatic of himself on domestic nature programmes on the BBC, they all did voices for 'Bananaman', and Graeme Garden is a regular on all the current Radio 4 panel shows.

P.S. It was 'Gronda Gronda' - all of the words in the alien language were anagrams of 'Dragon'.
