Still in Mississipi, using my wifes uncles computer to type this, my wifes dads OK but his head is pretty messed up.
But me and my wife are stranded here with her grandma, me and her wanted to come back home this morning, but we're not leaving til' tomorrow. So I might as well have not even took a week off work cos' I've basically lost the last 4 days of it.
I didn't drink a single beer on my burfday, but I had a 40oz Corona last night, but I was so bloody tired I was in bed by 10, my sleeps all messed up.....grumble grumble!
Jeeze, just read the thread properly and saw the awful news about your wife's dad. Glad to know he's okay (or as okay as can be expected). That's a rotten thing to happen and no mistake. :(
Can`t you ask work to credit the four missing days on compassionate grounds, might need a letter from the doctor, but you should get it. A guy I used to work with was ill on his week off and had it credited to him on the basis that you can`t be on holiday and sick at the same time, it`s worth a shot !
