help!

I just got a spectrum + 48k from some friends and when you press the number keys nothing happens. I've tried pressing them with. all the shift and othe things pressed down but to no avail. What do I do??? Also I believe they are not defective.

    Well, if they don't actually work as advertised, then they *are* defective.

    Probably a flaky ribbon inside. Open it up and get yourself some metallic paint.

    If that doesn't work, try my keyboard membrane. I can send it in the post.
