heres the question...

out of roughly 140 tapes , I've bought from 3 places.. how many will be repeats... I've not got em yet.. just take a guess/punt... I'm gonna have a guess at 13

    errm?!?! so sending me games without some of the inlay instructions is perfect? I think thats a bit cheap and I won't be buying of that person again.

    Sorry gals / guys your gonna have to wait a few days till I collect the other 2 lots. One is a about 30 mile drive, crazy I know but hey, but it was local pick up only.
    might be perfect, but some of it's users are a tad vague/minimal with the actual truth. i.e. they forget the fact to tell you something is working or not.


    thankfully make a chip , survival , scrabble all have instructions.. me sarcy?!?! never :)

    ok 2 loads of tapes in.. I drove FAR to pick up a speccy and it doesn't work :evil: .

    ok.. the doubles with that.. 5 with the others .. or
    8 with my own collection (trashman , kong strikes back , horizons starter)

    oh and... *long pause* 2 scrabbles...

    I haven't picked up lot #3 as the doughnut sent it to where I am , when I'm not here. So maybe another kong to turn up.

    you did say ALL the kong tapes? do you know how many are in exsistance..

    it was probably duped by the same bloke who did make a chip & scrabble.. and someone added an extra 000's on the end of the order.

    Thing is the speccy didn't work.. BUT it does have an interface 2 / printer / tape deck / currah speech for over ?30.. oh and knightlore :) so I might keep it.. he wanted to refund.. and I thought, sod it I'll get the speccy fixed as i did a 60 mile round trip to get it.. so add another few ?? on petrol..

    I was more miffed at the time spent rather than the money tbh.

    still don't get the specific issue with it? it was a ok enough game, tad too easy.. not the fav bits of work you were involved with , BUT it's far from the worst game I have. I even remember I bought mine in the local Woolies.

    I just found a "micros are fun" book in the box for this.. it's by ladybird.. 95p.. 32 pages of amazing(?) basic. I guess I should scan it in, as the cover only appears on here.

    ok , so I picked up the 3rd lot today... and 1 broken speccy + with no PSU etc.

    so

    in addition to what I had

    2 exploding fists.. 1 budget / full price
    2 knightmare.. 1 budget / full price
    2 kikstart 2's
    2 matchday 2's.. 1 budget / full price

    oh and trashman , I had already in my own collection

    and the winner .... is.... *drum roll*

    daley thompson decathalon.. 3 copies

    I wonder how many bought that?!?! must have been one of their biggest sellers , appart from wizball on c64 :p

    today I bought another lot.. ?10.. speccy 128+2 , 2 zipsticks WITH convertors and a bucket load of games.. I thought, ah well the zipstiks and the games would be worth it alone...

    it all worked , sorta.. tape drive is f'd I think .. maybe a new belt etc will fix that

    so now I have another

    manic miner , chequered flag .

    I will have a few more in the post as a certain ebayer flogs make a bast chip with EVERYTHING.. bit like "you want fries with that"

    At the moment I have over 100 copies each of Plexar - Sealed, Dan Dare - Sealed and Viz.

    I would hazard a guess that I also have about 50 - 75 Spectrums that are surplus - I have no idea if they work.

    That's what happens when you get really big job lots.

    P.S. Also about 20 copies of Jet Set Willy for the Amstrad sealed.

    Edit - Around 4000 duplicates in total, I could put a couple of 1000 different games lots up as beginners collectors lots. I am running out of loft space :(

    ADJB , think 1000 is a bit much.. I'd do em as bundles of 100 or even 50.. I dunno..as long as I get near enough back what I paid then I don't mind.. Only reason I say that is I got jetpac with one machine.. and knightlore with another, not the stupid prices people are asking for em.


    I found 3 rare things in this lot. educational stuff , thomas the tank engine , fun with words, first class with shoe people and first steps mr men..

    I guess they might be rare as I notice all 3 don't have proper full entries on WOS :)

    oh and another I just found as an MIA.. kids pack 2 by alternative :)
