Speccy Flash Mobbing....

I got realy fed up with PC world the other day, and I and sure that many other computer users have as well at some point.

So I think its time...time for speccy flash mobbing, on a date, time & store to be decided at some point. "we" , who every wants to turn up with a Speccy in hand and ask for a .. what ever just for fun!

Say 4 or 5 people turned up at a store with speccys and ask for a memory upgrade, and let them explain why they don't have any. Some one could take photos of the event, for a web site as proof of the "event"

O.K its a long time until April the 1st. But thats what "Flash mobbing" is all about it can happen at any time... any body up for it?

    Yup, great idea, even though I have no transport or a mobile phone.

    Flash mob at the gates of Ultimate with Spectrums in hand and ask for Mire Mare.

    While we're at it, if everyone bombards their local WHSmith with Speccies in hand and ask them to start stocking Spectrum games again.... (preferably Cronosoft ones)....I shall be RICH...RICH I TELLS YA....HAHAHAHAHA!

    Well I'd be up for stroming the Ultimate/Rare offices, demanding copies of Mire Mire, the free release of the Ulitmate back catalogue and a public apology for being so nasty.

    I'll join you on the Ultimate one.Its only half hour away from me.

    I wrote to ACG back in 85 or 86 asking them if they sold the baseball caps that the Crash competition winners won.

    They wrote back apologising for the fact that they didnt sell BASBALL caps to the public. Still, the letter was typed using this fancy headed paper with the words Ultimate Play The Game embossed on it-very nice.

    I used to do that all the time and got loads of posters and stuff.

    Ultimate sent a huge load of extremely glossy posters out - good for them ! :)
