JSW2 Help

I can't remember for the life of me about this.

How do you get out of the Star Drive (early brick version)

? :-?

For those who are not aware of where it is:

Shuttle Bay

Go up past The Trouble With Tribbles

Onto the lift in Someone Else and jump up

Head right through Maria In Space and Banned and you`ll see it.

:)

I half thought the TripSwitch had something to do with it, but I do not think so.

Nah! The trip switch is what makes the boat appear at the bow that takes you to the deserted island. But you have to go all the way through the underground screens and get back up top, and then make it all the way to the bow without losing a life, it's very hard to do but it's not impossible.

As for getting out of the star drive it's tricky, but I've done it before, you don't need the item in there to finish the game anyway, unless you're going for every single item the game lets you finish with less than what there is. So you can avoid some of the trickier ones if you want.

I could not manage it :D

I do remember it being possible as has been stated though. I'll probably watch the rzx to see if its visited on that.

The Trouble With Tribbles is a very annoying screen if you are not cheating (inf lives) though. :)

It's a right pain in the arse, but it is possible. It's one of those screens which requires absolutely spot on timing and knowing how to work the conveyors in your favour. I can't remember whether I even bothered going there when I did the RZX though, it's not actually necessary to do it to finish the game.

the room is visited in the rzx, the ones that got missed are the hole with no name / secret passage, and mega hill / downstairs.

RZX also misses out on getting the cartography room item

I was not aware that one was collectable (once you had visited enough screens to make it "climbable" for want of a better word) , I was always under the impression it was not a real object.

On the CPC version (which has an interesting "gravity off" cheat so you can merely jump to what height you want and stay there!) its not. Although I've never attempted it on the speccy version.

I'll re-visit that screen once I have collected a large amount of objects and see. :)

Yeah, I knew there were a few I didn't bother with. It's also not quite the best route to take around the house, but I seem to recall I favoured going for the tricky bits first in case the RZX rollback thing screwed up.

Yeah, that ones a bugger. It's collectable, but requires a bit of planning.
