Ok cheers tobo. Its not to be a main computer or anything, its just for running emulators, will only be running one program at a time and wont be going online. Any other sugestions regarding specs greatley apreciated.
Myself, if I was in the market for a 2nd hand PC of those specs I'd get one for about ?75 maybe ?50 on a good day.
I see computers like yours at car boot sales weekly, and in those free ad papers.
If I went to cash converters then it would probably cost me ?150 on its own and ?225 with monitor keyboard et al. But then cash converters is usually a rip of for both the buyer and the seller.
?20 if I was feeling generous. considering it's got bog all memory and not a big hard drive.. it'd do as a mame machine or well for basic net stuff . surfing.. office.. which is the angle I'd take if I was flogging it
you probably can pick up a p4 on freecycle these days.hehe
