He was off of BBC's "Jigsaw" wasn't he?

And these are just remakes or something - not watched the clip for technical reasons.

    I preferred "Green Nigel".

Noseybonk was pretty scary, Charlie Brooker sums up accurate thoughts on him on the screenwipe childrens tv special. The tune that accompanies Noseybonk is soooo great, I've been humming it for yrs and now I've been reminded of it again lol!

Noseybonk was indeed from "Jigsaw" The last youtube I posted was (I think) the only original "Noseybonk" footage remaining.

Noseybonk was infact Adrien Hedley (sp) in a mask, but he scared me half to death!

I'm suprised that this got past the scripting level, what with the obvious sexual innuendos that, I guess, would be over childrens heads, it's just the horrifying images. Worse than clowns! Scary!

Oh God, I do indeed remember that. Horrible. Wish I'd not watched it before bed.

The remakes (and appearance on screenwipe) are by Stuart Ashen (of Chinese handheld game knockoff reviewing fame)

yeah wordy was great, he'd float around helping kids spell words. so he'd give you a bunch of words ending in ing for example.

Nowadays he would have to ask you for words ending in innit.......
Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........

I remember that! Was it The Peregrine Falcon on the Words & Pictures programme? I've never been able to find any reference to it and have often wondered if I imagined it all. Wasn't there something to do with telegrams in it - the kids thought the language was Welsh but it was simply written backwards?

I remember the bloke in it was 58758934753 years old.. and it was an antiques shop and he had a henchman.. and the kids knew the old duffer and only twigged at the end he was the egg taker...

remind ya of scooby doo without the scooby snacks? hehe

Noseybonk reminds me of The PiMan from the Automata games. Bet he'd knife you in your sleep as well!

Yes, the kids were walking along the canal towpath when they realised that POTS was STOP backwards. They wrote it on the ground with some chalk they happened to have to hand, or something.

I thought the old bloke was the guy who played Catweazle
