Her hair isn't short enough for you ... besides I hear she's a terrible back-seat driver ... just look at the pic!

Well Scottie posted a photo of her, from his college days, if I recall, years ago (sadly now lost to me - next to a waterfall?), and she reminded me of someone I lost. And Scottie reminds me of me! F*ck! There's nothing left for me now!

    Kill me now!

OMG so funny. I laughed so much I almost suffocated.

I'll get my wife to pick the winner as was suggested.

Back in the UK now, got stuck in New York, but did get a few hours to see the city.

    The compo is over!

And I won because of the image manipulation (look at the clever usage of converging lines dragging you to a point which is a spike), the colour coordination betwixed the new background and the flipped version of the referenced image, the spikes in relation to the location, which can be deadly, and the overall jovial phrase in conjunction with the magical imagery unimposed behind your mind's eye.

And I fancy Scottie's wife, and she is the judge.

BTW Scottie what were you doing in that shot ... just singing? Complementing the wife on her looks?

Naah I was just messing about. Probably doing daft voices to make the wife laugh.

She has agreed to judge the winner and for this compo I will allow also the picture modifications to be included.

I have another daft photo but I'll save that one for later.

    :)

Tough decision... I am astounded by everyone's clever captions and laughed my head off while I was making my mind up. Congratulations to Joefish for finding a dinosaur that looks oddly like my husband. The one about portable urinals was a close runner up. Frobush, your advances are flattering, but my heart belongs to the man in that picture.

    Tart! I demand a recount!

Joefish's image choice was obvious and he couldn't even be bothered to add a caption! And this IS a caption compo!

And my wing mirror was better.

Don't worry Frobbie, she prefers the dino over you. Maybe she's into "skin conditions" (whatever that means).

While mine was non-existent, your wing mirror was transparent where it ought not be.

I never care if it's over or not, I just add a caption for my own amusement.

No. I mean yes. It depends. I will have to be fair to you and do some more research before I publish my results.

Not very politically correct, asking people to make funny comments about someone with Downs Syndrome, perhaps a different choice would be a little more tasteful.
