Issue with PS2 and componant connection
I have a PS2 connected via component to my Samsung HDTV. Picture is bad because the HDTV shows up how bad the res and textures are on the PS2. So I bought an LG CRT TV today. It does not have component connections on the back or front just left right audio and video (yellow) and RGB scart. I need red, green, blue sockets.
Does anyone know if I can maybe buy a scart adapter that has red, green, blue instead of left right audio and one yellow for video? Also is it ok to do it this way?
Thanks all.

I use it (an older version actually) to connect my Xbox 360 and the Wii to the single component in jack on my HDTV. To switch between the outputs of the two consoles, all I need to do is flick a switch. Apparently it supports the PS2 as well. And the quality of the pictures are pretty good too!

I need the actual scart block to have connections to R G B so I can plug the cable in.
Thanks though.

A friend of mine has an older one as well (X360, Wii, PS2 connectors) and said that the signal is bad if he has both PS2 and Wii connected. The switch obviously doesn't work very well. But maybe it's just his cable... (Hmm, thinking of it, I have the same cable as well, but never tried using it for anything but my Wii. Maybe I might try plugging in the PS2 some day).
