  The problem is there is no immunity to poke Jackson City.
  For Side arms, poke it seems that the immunity does not work with all enemies.
  
  I thought someone would get the pokes.

  there was some POKER utility (or AUTOPOKE), can't find it though and forgot the name... it's function was to find the adress where the number of lives or anything changed> just make two snapshots in emulator - with full lives and then after killing...
  utility recognizes the difference and gives you exact address.
  
  some may know it too... Pavero for sure (my guess)

  Use HokeyPokey .... and try for yourself ;)
  
  (and don't be shy to try more fancy utils made just to your liking, there's a lot of them)
