Drove my car for the first time in a week, managed to get out of the drive okay, do have a 4 wheel drive thingie on my car but havent used it before.

The main roads were fine actually but the little side roads were still a bit dodgy. Think theres more snow on the way early next week, getting fed up with it !

I drove to work at 7am this morning wasn't too bad. and yep SLOWLY. I kinda drove as I'd not used the car since wenesday, but was worried I'd slide.. thankfully got back in one piece at 5:15..

they are supposed to be replacing water pipes here and parking is suspended , but no sight of em.. maybe due to other mains splitting.hhmm

no parking on the road for 2 weeks.. is kinda.. agh as I don't like my new car outta sight.. and NO I am not gonna sleep in it :)

Wouldnt worry about putting your car out of sight, my sister bought a fancy sports car and would park it miles away in car parks (in case someones door scratched it etc) but a few weeks later she started being 'normal' with it !

Its only a car at the end of the day !

One week on and I am still housebound, as the day centres are still closed and they are unable to provide any support or relief services, and I am legally unable to leave any of my clients in the house unsupervised. That has effectivly made 11 consecutive days of 24/7 contact time, in a house with people with mental health problems and very demanding. The food is starting to run short now, let alone the toilet paper, I am just hoping that we don`t get any more snow now, I need to get out of the house, even if it is just to shop.

    Bah humbug !

Can't you just fly out of the window whilst on fire - burning away all the snow? Whilst juggling? And being sawn in half and then put back together again?
