An inch of powder fell last night, and still snowing lightly. Tired of the ice - aggravates the sciatica.

I'm sure as a kid i never used to fall over as much. I'm walking round like an old git really slowly in case i slip on the ice, its embarassing !

Hopefully the rain will wash most of it away this upcoming weekend. Dread to think what our fuel bill is like as its been on nearly non-stop the last few weeks

Well that didnt work, walked to the shop to get some supplies (ran out of snacks !), walked like C3PO, a couple of kids were shouting stuff at me and throwing snowballs. Despite telling the girl in the shop i can speak fluently in over one million forms of communication she told me to **** off.

To top it all off going home i had Rik Mayall chasing me calling me all sorts of derogatory names (JOKE !)

He'll do that. On a related topic Alexi Sayle keeps stealing the food I leave out for the birds.

He even accused me of killing his brother, mind you I was dressed as R2D2 and on my way to Frobushes Science Fiction Nerd Convention at the time, perhaps the real R2D2 did it...........and I got the blame. ZnorXman went too, as princess Leiah.

You should try 5 or 6 months of the year EVERY year :p

Been lucky here, no snow and rain last night and raise in temp, so most of the snow melted.

... although still the binmen haven't collected the recycling, it's a ruddy joke !

...Maybe I should ring the recycling people and deliver it in person inside their offices :-P

We pay highly for the service, yet they expect us to do most of the work, perhaps I should ask them to do most of my work and I would still get paid for it, MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Well some council borough's are worse than others. Some require you to seperate paper, bottles, slops (food waste although if I had one it would be used for plops. LOL), and glass.

I never wash out the food cans, fast food trays or glass as why should I use my hot water for their conveince? It really takes the piss.... if all this nonsense is about saving the planet, it all a loada rollocks - think about how much poisonous fumes and co2 emissions went into manufactering all those ugly looking wheelie bins.

Just wait until chip n bin gets launched throughout the UK - your bin will have a microchip inbedded in the lid, it gets weighed, and then you pay depending how much you've thrown away - resulting in most people doing a sneeky trip during the night to do a bit of fly tipping.

The bin men are now saying that even though they havn`t been for weeks, they can still only take one wheelybin full, and only if that is not overfilled. I have an extra bin full which they have left, perhaps I will fly tip it in my own garden, for spite !

They finally took ours yesterday including black bin bags. I mean they havent been for over 2 weeks so most people cant fit all their rubbish into their one bin.

Bad they left that other bin though

They said if they take our extra, they have to take everyone elses, perhaps I should pay to have it taken away and send them the bill, saying that if they dont pay up I will sue them for failing to live up to their contract. What do we pay poll tax for ? We have no choice of the services the council contract, so surely they can be held accountable. Two weeks collection equates to two weeks rubbish, surely.

Exactly, not like youre taking the mick or that. You pay council tax for 52 times for the binmen to collect your stuff, if for one week they cant do it then theres no surprise when theres more rubbish the week after.

Fooking lazy basts! It hardly anyones fault if their bin is overflowing since they don't pick the things up... One way to get the councils attention; fly tip it in ya garden and build a fooking huge bonfire, or deliver it in person :D
