Quite surprised that this doesn't seem to have been mentioned on WOS yet:

I'd love to watch it on a real Speccy to see how much it flickers

I have seen it before. Impressive.

This flicker combined with gigascreen techniques perfectly fits the theme of drugs and hallucinations ;)

It's a pity it wouldn't work well in a normal game.

Personally, I'm quite glad it doesn't work well in a normal game. Unless the point of the game is to grow your own migraine...

Depends on set up. TV type, connections 'n' such. I got this sort of thing to work with pretty much no flicker at all. Listed what I did in the other gigascreen thread.

Oh good, there's a download. I'll give it a go sometime!

The tunnel part with the blue heart would work very nicely as an Amiga STARDUST style 3D shoot em up. Or, like a 3D SPLATTR!

Very interesting thread. I'd be interested in checking out Pimp My Spectrum but it's making my anti-virus software wet itself - it's claiming there's a whole bunch of viruses & trojan horses on it :-o Is it safe?

Ha? I don't think there is a single animation there... all real-time calculated.

But yes, flickery as hell unless you turn on the blending in Spin ;-)
