I am listening to best of Nik Kershaw (CD supplied by fellow RG forum member SirClive) but funny you should mention the Inspirals because I've had their song Uniform in my head all day. Dunno why, don't even like it that much.

I am familiar with the first and last and agree with you completly, as for the Auters I dont think I have heard anything by them. I have yet to see a Television Personalities CD for sale, if anyone has, please let me know.

P.s. Just checked E-Bay and there are some on there !

Auteurs are a fantastic nineties band led by the hilariously misanthropic Luke Haines. He has just reformed another of his side projects Black Box Recorder who are worth checking out.

TV Personalities can be hard to get hold of - I picked up "and don't the kids just love it" on CD from Amazon. I also have their most recent but one, and quite brilliant album, "My Dark Places". Everything else I have of theirs is vinyl.

    Sampled by many.

I'd almost completely forgotten about that tune! Nice cheeky lift of the melody to Living On The Ceiling by Blancmange there, as well as the thing that Altern-8 sampled.

By way of a complete contrast, just finished listening to Jane's Addiction - Nothing's Shocking album and just deciding what to put on next

I have just one word to say to you " Headphones ", still I suppose it is a very responsible attitude to take. You Anarchist !;)

I would be interested to know what you got, the prices on E-Bay are whacky for Lydia Lunch, and the choices are limited. I am not really a big fan of
" Best of Collections " but in some cases it is a sensible choice, I also prefer original recordings and not so much the 30 year later comeback recordings. Do you know of many exceptions to the rule, i.e. any punk revival groups which are as good now, or better than they were ?

You posted the list as I was writing this, " WOW " the boy done good and all for ?4, I bet you cried tears of joy, I would have !
