I only have one reservation.... just one.... and thats the music.

I loved the score to the original... and for a long time was upset about their choice of composers for this one... I thought it would have been like asking Right Said Fred to score the last star wars film.... or something...

however... now... I'm not too sure... the original score fittied the original film really well... but would it fit this one.... maybe not.... Just going to have to wait .

You know ... your sentence is more interesting than the trailer!

What are you implying, are you going to explode because of excitement, turn into a pumpkin, find a time machine and leap forward, sleep next to Hansie Boy Solo in carbonite, or what ???

It's these sort of sentences that always wake me up from the humdrummery of everyday existence. One statement, infinite possibilities, but which one?

And now I CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU ANSWER!!!

I thought it was going to be total CG? I saw a trailer early last year that had 'Spirits Within' style characters. Looks so much better like this!

Apparently Jeff is old man in the machine and his alter ego Clu ( young digi Bridges ) has got corrupted and is now being naughty.

Sounds like a really interesting set-up. I watched the first film again last night. I was amazed at how little some of the CGI had aged, particularly the light cycles section. Am I right in saying that this some of the earliest (if not the first) use of CGI in a film?

I aways wanted to play the 3d Tron game that you held up to your eyes. Assuming my memory isn't playing tricks and I've made it up.

I'm sure it was the first film to use CGI, but it was CGI being CGI... the first film to use CGI to be something else was The Last Starfighter

No, your memory is good, 3D Tron ( may have been called something else ) was by Tomy, you were a little tank shooting Recognizers.

Thanks. Can't find any trace of the 3d tron game on the world wide information superhighway, I guess it must be pretty rare now.
