Bandwith wise this type of thing must be quite a hit? Perhaps putting it onto Bit Torrent would be a nice idea. I'd certainly be happy to seed them for a long time anyways.

You done good.. you done REAL good...

This page makes a nice menu for the issue`s :)

I`ve spent the last two weeks (just under) more or less just getting an issue a day and am up to iss 13, although I might start getting issue 26 as I can see issue`s I missed when I first had a +2 (from early 88)...

You done a good thing... the rapping for the jpg`s works well, as It wouldn`t be the same just as pics... :)

Oh, and the size must be a killer on your server **&^^% eeek...

Actually, it is running of my PC at the moment, hence the slow upload speed. NTL only allow 256k upload max. On the upside, there is no space restriction as I have a separate 200gb hard drive for the website, and no extra cost.

I am still developing the site, but I'm getting 600 hits per day! (Although most of these are download managers reconnecting)

Eventually, I will have the main pages on sinclair-heaven.co.uk (which I also own), and the files on my PC.

If speed is a problem, you can always buy the DVD! These will be the same price as Morts, so you will have a choice between PDF & the original JPEG from Mort.

The download speed I've had when I downloaded (got 4 or 5 issues so far) was pretty damn good :) So no probs on that score (wouldn't whinge anyways, what do people expect for free :p lol).

If you would like any help in spreading these to other people (ie NTL start moaning) then let me know.

Great work though, and thanks a lot :)

Thanks for the offer, but we currently have around 20gb spare on our websites if NTL start being funny.

Hey.. Just downloaded issue 27 and when I clickit Adobe says it`s corrupted and cannot be fixed.

Just thought I should say so you can check it. I`d download it again also, if I knew it had been a transfer error and not the original..

    Hi,
I just checked issue 27 and it works OK. It might be worth trying again.

By the way, next week I will be moving to a new server which should be faster and more reliable.

Cheers mate for checking... I`ll defs download again, although with Dial up it takes me about 2 1/2 to 3 hours per issue (although worth it) so your new server will make no difference to me.

I now have Issue`s 1 to 14, plus issue 26, issue 29 and hoped to have iss 27.. these issue`s in the 20`s correspond to early 1988 when I`d just got my +2 and couldn`t afford mags.. so as well as the first issue`s these ones also are VERY VERY VERY NICE to have... Im sick of saying this, but... Thanks...

Also... I will be buying the DVD`s of all mags, but debts at the moment make this impossible :)

I just tried to access it via download and got the same message. Strange that I can open it directly but not via download..

Maybe Your Sinclair put something in the mag to stop pdf'ing!

I have re-done it and put the new version on.

Very strange indeed... I can hear the Twighlight Zone music in my head as I type... nice of you to download it youself to check. Must have felt strange downloading from your own server...

I`ve just started downloading again, will get the first 10% or so before bed, then get the rest the morrow night.

It`s great on your page with all the thumbnails, as I can see issue`s which look most appealing, iss 27 being one of them... I have issue`s 31 or thereabouts `til the last as actual mags, so I`ll just wait `til I get a DVD player etc for those...

Bad news compadre... I started getting issue 2 of Input earlier... just finished the download and guess what, yeah, same sh*t!

Weird, as apart from a couple ah days in hospital I been downloading mags from you every day for about the last 20, and not a single problem with any of them..

Could it be a rogue Commodore user hacking your server? I think not, not enough intelligence... yet, something is wrong :(

    hope nothing major... Cal

Well I got Input 1 about 5 days ago, plus been getting YS`s at about one a day no probs til yesterday...

YS`s are usually about 24 meg with a few kicking in at thirty meg... but well worth it,even for us dial ups
