Doctor Who question: If you were in trouble...

edited April 2010 in Chit chat
Say you were in serious trouble, like, I don't know, the Earth was about to explode, or there's Daleks coming up your front path, or something. Then, to your inexplicable relief, from behind you you hear the wheezing and groaning of the Tardis materialising behind you. Which Doctor would you want to walk out of the Tardis to offer his help?

Personally I'd say the seventh Doctor, Sylvester McCoy. He's not my favourite actor of the part, but his Doctor is the most devious and capable, so I think I'd rather have him in my corner than any of the others, although for just a friendly drink I'd probably choose the fourth or sixth Doctors (Tom and Colin Baker).

And as for which companions I'd like to meet, I'd say either Ace or the first Romana. Actually, Ace, since I don't like stuffy birds like the first Romana, beautiful though she is. Or maybe that new bird, Matt Smith's sidekick, I don't know.

Who would you choose?

prolly look out for myself rather than letting a creepy man take me into his box.

if a darlek was coming towards me id run up sun stairs, cos as we all knew they cant follow, not with the current BBC cuts.

as for a cyberman id throw some gold at him, and if that didn't kill him i'd write and angry letter to stephen moffat to get that fixed.

Totally agree with Sly McCoy. He'd have known in advance that this was going to happen, and he's probably had a gameplan brewing from 700 years. As for companion. Peri please (something to gawp at while the Doc does all the Universe saving!)

Hartnell would be the best Doctor, he might seem like an old duffer, but he seemed to know his stuff. As for companions, it has to be Zoe in that silver catsuit!

I'd f'kin nut the doctor and nick his Tardis :D

But not before I ducked below the Daleks angle of shooting and ripped it's sink plunger....oops sorry "Death Ray" off, and beat it round the head with it before pushing it off the curb at a funny angle so it fell over. Then I'd put the weeks rubbish in it to save space in my wheelie bins.

........Although I'd probably get fined by the council since it's not in the Binmens job description to empty Daleks

It would have to be Tom Baker, cool as, with the old jelly babies lulling the enemy into a false sense of security, then wallop, he throws a switch somewhere. Assisted by Jo Grant at her most fluffiest.

I tend to agree with ewgf, it'd probably be Sylvester McCoy and Sophie Aldred (Ace) for me. Ideally all 11 Doctors would arrive in seperate Tardises to save the day!

But you would need a house that was bigger on the inside than the outside before that could happen. :D
