More extreme Black Metal and a few Death Metal cd's for me today...
Cerekloth - Pondemonium Prayers
Hunters Moon - The Serpents Lust
Victimizer - Resurected Abominations (more heavy thrash than Black/Death)
The Dead - In The Bondage Of Vice (I dreaded doing a Google image search for this cover..)
thy Flesh Consumed - Unrepentant
Husker du: Warehouse Songs and Stories
Current Track: Ice Cold Ice.
I fuckin' love this tune, I thought this and Candy Apple Grey were their weakest albums until about a year ago, never really liked them, but now I think some of the tunes from these albums are as good as their faster earlier stuff.

Maybe I'm softening up in my old age.
But nothing beats Punch Drunk :D

Professional Mel-the-Bell Simulator................"So realistic, I found myself reaching for the Kleenex King-Size!" - Richard Darling
Wolfmother
Conflict
Museum of Witchcraft CD
Levellers
I've also been listening to a CD that accompanies the 'Trapped in a Scene' book by Ian Glasper. It's about the UK Hardcore scene from 85 to 89. It's got some great stuff on it from Napam Death, Dr & The Crippens, Concrete Sox, Jailcell Recipes, Electro Hippies, Filthkick & Intense Degree. It just reminds me of listening to John Peel (RIP) in the late 80's. Quality stuff indeed.
The books bloody good as well. Well worth a read for any fans of uk hardcore.
Had a listen of that album yesterday, and while "Travolta" was playing my missus was like WTF are you listening to?
Yeah, the whole album does tend to provoke that reaction from people. I was playing it while setting up at band practice the other week, and got the exact same response.
just played this cd twice that i bought in sheffield at the weekend
on the sunday a group of us from the retro do were out drinking and got thrown out of the dev cat cos it shut so we walked up to the forum, just stumbling into that room, the noise, the darkness, 2 saxophones, loads of guitar noise, packed, nutters dancing like gibbons, beer
awesome
thats my review of the gig :)
Saw them last year at the Bearded Theory festival and a few years back at Beautiful Days.
At the bearded theory festival there was a mini tornado which ripped down the main stage so Tofu Love Frogs played an inpromptu gig later on under a ground sheet propped up by some tent poles. They were fantastic!! Have a look at their website as you can get all their albums for free.
