Well, I've kept it secret long enough so you might as well know I'm going to be a Dad.

The baby is due in early October.

    Ha ha very strange ! I havent mentioned it to many people.

    I'm going to be a dad in October as well ! The missus had the 12 week scan last week.

    Scary but very cool, glad her morning sickness has nearly stopped as apparently she had the 'worst' morning sickness in the history of womankind

    Yep ours is the 11th. Hopefully wont be on a sunday, not due to religous reasons but because i'll be watching the NFL september-january every sunday ;)

    How did that happen? Well, congratulations. You will become very familiar with lots of different coloured fluids.

    Congrats! Just make sure you get plenty of sleep before the baby is born!

    My little daughter is my shadow and makes sure that I'll never have another lay in again...

    My first child was born 6 weeks and 3 days ago! She is the most amazing thing ever.
    Me mates were doing a sweepstake on what we were going to call her (end of last year).
    Top of their lists were Clive, ZX and Sinclair!

    Congratulations, mate.

    Thoughts from my experience with my 3 year old lad.

    0-1: Enjoy it. What little you have left of free time is about to disappear (they do bugger all)
    1-2: Watch everything, move everything, hide everything
    2-3: What a year. From a few words to holding coherent arguments and actually making more sense than you will.

    Oh yeah, say goodbye to anything slightly interesting on TV before 7pm for a while. Your life is about to be taken over by CBeebies/Nick Jr.

    Nice tips ! I'm dreading having to watch disney cartoon after disney cartoon. To be fair i'm a big fan of the Clone Wars (embarassing its on the cartoon channel - my wife takes the mick) so it'll be good if the little one in the future likes that !

    I'm having one final birthday in August where i get presents, after that any presents will be for the nipper etc

    I did say to the wife if its a boy we could call him Sinclair, and if its a girl just Clair.

    It did not meet with approval.

    I'm wondering now what ZX Spectrum related names I could sneak in there....?
