Recommend me a GAC game or two

I'd love to hear a few recommendations for a couple of GAC games I can play and enjoy.

(Off topic: I brought GAC new actually, a lot of money for me at that time :( and although I bit off topic it never worked with my (grey) +2, perhaps it was an early version as the one here does work on Spin)

I like these adventure games (although they are mostly but not all Quill based) , posting the list for ideas for anything similar that's GAC based:

Project X The MicroMan
Galaxias
The Hobbit
Urban Upstart
The Boggit
ZZZZ

There were a couple of others but I cannot recall them, one was a Monty Python parody thing :???:

One I do not like:

The Mural ( talk about difficult :( )

Something interesting that's not really difficult or really long to complete would be good.

I was never that fond of GAC or many of the games created with it.

Winter Wonderland is probably one of the ones I liked most on that list, once you get past the beginning section.

I think Book of the Dead was a GAC one... and it was pretty good if I recall correctly

Personally I enjoyed The Case of the Mixed-Up Shymer

And S.M.A.S.H.E.D isn't bad, a parody of M.A.S.H

I was never too fond of GAC, i tried to make an adventure on it after mastering the Quill, but found it too fiddily and gave up. The only GAC game i know of was Winter Wonderland. Wasn't the 'Ket' trilogy made using GAC too?

No, Ket Trilogy was made before GAC existed...

If you're thinking of The Quest for the Holy Grail, it's not listed if that was authored with anything. I had the Mastertronic release and it's poor. Graphics are OK and the parser is good and has some amusing comebacks, but in terms of adventuring there's instant death everywhere and no clues to the bizarrely random puzzles. Even if you're familiar with the Monty Python sources, the author's own slant on them is still twisted into obscurity.
