    Hurry back home Jof.

[edit - Do'h, sounds kinda similar to Beanzie's comment. Well, I don't have the time right now to go back up there to edit what I typed.]

I guess this is the fun thing about a forum, I've been coming every day to this post, just to see if he's ok, and I don't even know the guy (except for what he posts here!)

    come back soon man!

I'd take him some of those incredible health packs from Operation Wolf, they can heal up severe stab wounds and grenade shrapnel damage in an instant...

Aye - who says genetically modified chicken is a bad idea?

Yeah, but not when it takes a few rounds from a semi-automatic to open the damn packaging. An easy-tear strip would help.

    Get well soon Furrybush.

May your stay in hospital be like "The Singing Detective" mixed with "Carry on Doctor" (except without the Hattie Jaqcues Bedbath scene).

Any more news on how Jof is doing?
  • edited June 2010
Wow, 17 pages of discussion on Joffa's absence. Wonder what he will think of that!

    As Homer Simpson once said,
I've got some ideas to improve the show. I got it right here.
One, Poochie needs to be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine.
Two, whenever Poochie's not onscreen, all the other characters should be asking, "Where's Poochie"?

Random fact: Ratchet, the Autobot medic from Transformers, is named after One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest character Nurse Ratched!

I guess we will have to wait to hear from Mr Hat or Fro himself.

you could always come up with a conspiracy theory of why he's not here

    a) he is genuinely ill (more than probable)
    b) he's done a lord lucan after winning the lotto
    c) he's ran off with matron
    d) he's doing an undercover expose of hospital cutlery etc
  • edited June 2010
    e) Mr Hat is indeed him. Saucer is not finished, and was never started. He's done a runner as he feels ashamed that he's let us down. (highly unlikely)
    f) Crime fighting with Gene Hunt (though he's not a copper)
    g) His balls and clag pipe are so bad, he needs to be under observation for a while and/or is too ill and drugged up to post (most likely).

    Get well soon Joffa.

I don't know, I just thought he said what came into his head with no brakes or mechanism to say eh... uh no saying that is a not a good idea and will make me look foolish.

In that respect he's just like me. :D

I'd say option 'g' just about hits the nail on the head!

Jof's up for his second operation (pipe work) Today. He is in a really bad way at the moment, unable to walk and in general very week :(

He should have some rather unusual dreams / stories to tell when he escapes... fingers crossed.

    Cheers,
    Tony

    Thanks for the update Tony.

Best wishes to Jof - sounds like he's having a truly torrid time of it.

They do seem to know how to make people wait for these things, don`t they ! Perhaps they hope that people will die before the ops, so they can save money. Good Luck Frobush !

Yes good luck Mr Bush. May your pipes be clear and your dreams be in 3D.

    Thanks for the update :D

I really sympathise with Jof tbh, I got an infection down there when I was about 22 and it literally nearly killed me. I had some kind of attack that was so painful I lost consciousness, the after effects of which were walking knock kneed for about 2 weeks afterwards. It hurt every time I went to the bog no#1 or 2, and usually resulted in another milder attack, which almost made me wish I'd lost consciousness every time I'd had one.

....and mine cleared up in the end with anti-biotics after about 3 weeks there was no infection present in my urine or blood, but the after effects lasted for months.

So I can't imagine the pain Jof is in :(

    Get well soon matey :)
