Ive just read through nine pages of this rambling on about Ebay and not one person has taken the piss out of Mile for playing with ickle plastic toy soldiers whats wrong with you people!!!.

i got some the other day, i have started painting them now.

ive tried playing the xbox with the GF but it was a horrible shouty mess. so this is something we can do together. i have no intention of going into a hobby store to play some kids.

there is a fair bit of money to be made from these models. so at the moment im buying stuff for my current army and stuff to sell on. im bidding on a couple of job lots which i will break up, strip the paint and resell as seperate models.

Its a tricky one as its 'so hidden' ;)

Click on the Help tab, 'contact us' on the bottom right and then select the phone option and you'll see the number

Isn`t it funny how they make things like bidding and paying easy, and anything to do with complaints, refunds, etc HARD. We live in a world of harsh reality and as such a balance should be made between both positive and negative aspects of E-Bay, but if lots of people are intimidated by the complaint process and refuse to follow things through, it gives the whole E-Bay / Pay-Pal thing a better reputation than is fair.

By the way psj3809 thanks for the tip !
Every time I read that the oldest person in the world has died, I have to do a quick check to see it isn't ME..........

i have a large ork army already, from my youth. so i am currently collecting an imperial guard army to fight them. im letting her play the orks. so she gets a couple of gargants and planes etc.

odly though gamews workshop has more or less dropped the entire game. they don't sell the minis in store anymore (although they do online). there is a current set of rules which they let you download for free.
they reckon interest dropped off in the game but i think that they never really made any money from the models as you can pick up a sizeable force for quite a reasonable ammount.

they seem to be pushing lord of the rings and 40k these days.

Yeah Epic died off years ago, I might be talking rubbish but i think i remember some of the less popular games still being supported in a fanzine style if you see what i mean. Not sure if it was still GW or someone else connected to them producing the stuff. I remember Blood bowl, the space version of epic and a game i think was called hive seeing releases this way.

Anyway its still geeky ya big nerd.;)

I have had yet another dealer do a runner on me, over ?50 this time, more annoying is the fact that I was over the moon with the item, so E-bay have told me to go to dispute, then wait 20 days to escallate it to a claim, then wait weeks untill they decide the outcome. It is getting to the point that I have very little faith in using E-Bay, I know it is not their fault, but they make it so difficult to resolve.
