Was a fun show. You had the usual crazyness, the political voting, and the pretty girls.. I liked the german song.

Must be a cultural thing - surely you'd have more in common with the country bordering yours rather than one on the other side of the world?

Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, are not in it.

Did anyone see the stage invasion? I didnt.

I did. :-x It was a shame that Jimmy Jump bullshit accessing the stage during Spanish song, but congratulations to his singer and rest of dancers that continued as nothing had happened. However, they had to sing 'Something Tiny' again at the end.

Not bad for Spain after several years near the bottom line. And about scoring, when will all Eastern countries leave voting themselves?

they all vote for germany.... why?

Maybe because according to a survey carried out by your very own BBC, Germany is the world's most popular country? As weird as that may sound to you island dwellers who don't particularly like us ;) (this forum lacks a more broad selection of appropriate smilies, a "shrug" one would be nice).

Sad to see grown up men getting worked up about the evil hun empire of warmongers having the audacity to win this thing again after a mere 28 years.

Historically no country has ever won both the Eurovision *and* the FIFA World Cup, so there's one thing less to worry about in two weeks... :D

Yeah, one helluva sausage fest (see my avatar for details), I tell ya! ;)

Truth be told, I was somewhat pished indeed, had been on an uncle's 50th birthday earlier that evening = free beer till the cows come home, not saying no to that. When we came home the voting had already been halfway over and we were quite surprised at the high score we had.
