He will be missing his own gourmet cooking, thats for sure !

The hospital food will probably be better for him than his own mystical concoctions, and hospital food is usually responsible for making patients sicker

The smell of the food is the worst thing in there, it smells of bleach and bandages, is usually cold, and is nearly always not what you ordered, because the people served before you decide that they prefer something else instead. That is where you finally discover that jelly is actually poisonous and custard comes from Hell !

I even took my drip stand to the staff canteen and ate there, when it was gone, I was always escaping and when I finally went back I said that I was walking in the coridoors.

Well, yes, I suppose those drip bags do look like big freeze-pops. Yummy - don't try freezing your colostomy bag tho - that aint as nice.

Wow. I had missed this thread.

Frobush - we're being silly, but it's to cover the nervousness. We're all worried about you. I mean, you're a complete loon - but you're OUR complete loon. (You see, we learned from Microsoft's Adopt and Extend policy).

Get well soon, mate. Really. Or we'll have to kill you.

but the plus side as insane as he was before , when he comes back out he'll be worse :) . as I'd go a tad radio rental.

I was in 2 minds whether to ring up , as well nurses are busy with their own work.

Phone them up and be appologetic about disturbing them as you know they must be very busy, ask their advice on the best times to phone for an update, they will be happy to help.

That was very Frobush, and the spinning almost sent me into a trance, well done, I have been trying to borrow a camcorder, but the git is being a bit shady about it.

12 days now and counting, still no news, MrHat was on here 23 hours ago but must have forgotten to update us as to how the big guy is doing. It has been 8 weeks since Fro was on here as well, so he has been ill for a long time now. Well I hope there are at least a few alternative videos to keep us occupied untill we find out !

Hope Jof is mending. I'll psychicaly send healing thoughts into a block of Fro code printed on a dinner plate. My consciousness will connect through his code you see. And i'll be beaming nothing but good intention and well being into the aether. Quantum entaglement will take care of the rest.

Let us all beam good intention at the alter of Fro at midnight!
  • edited June 2010
I'm with you in beaming good intentions to Fro. I miss him :?(
    Get well soon Fro

I wonder if Scotty will be beaming up at midnight as well ( cue the Star Trek music )...................

well why don't one of you lot ring up the hosi :)
    it's ward 3d still..

If I ring up again, he might think I'm stalking him.. not really... besides some of you lot know him far longer

besides I can't do a convincing Yorkshire accent to pretend to be mile or mel :)

Perhaps if you posted the telephone number we could all phone up, they would get so sick of it, they would make him better quicker, just to kick him out ! We would also need the area code !

page 1 of this thread.. then google is your friend :) (how you think I got it ?!?! AND the area code is included)

I'd not post the number directly on here as well , I'm sure 1 or 2 calls is fine.. not 20 :)

Yes well if I were up on this modern technology and knew the ins and outs of google and all that jazz, I wouldn`t be stuck in the 80`s with the Specnet.

The Internets is a lying bathturd!

Typed into The Googles "Free PC to Phone calls" and got a few pages. After spending an hour just going through the first 1.5 pages I have come to the conclusion that liars lie and The Webs is just chockful of liars!

Sorry Frobie, no soup for you!

    Hope he's okay. *bites nails*

I'm sorry for the lack of updates on Jof's status... The truth is I just don't know guys :(

I've tried contacting his bed lots over the past few weeks but to no avail... However somebody told me today that he's out of hospital, if this is the case and he's well enough he may post his own update or possibly contact me by phone, I'll let you know if this happens.

    I'm really worried about Smifff:cry:
