Gladiator (Mikro-Gen)

edited June 2010 in Infoseek database
Hi Martijn,

I'm not convinced that this is correct, the entry seems to be based on a Thorn EMI advert, selling games by other companies...

Looks like a misprint to me, and the game in question being Gladiator by Domark.

Gladiator was originally to come out via Mikro-Gen, but they rejected it as too difficult to control. There's a Mike Meek quote to that effect somewhere.

I also vaguely recall that it was supposed to have been a MikroPlus enhanced game.

don't forget thorn emi were prolly distributors also, I do recall it from some vague memory (probably an advert) .. from something else.. they had the infrastructure from being a distro of films
(orc attack is one of my fav games ever)

much as mastertronic and entertainment UK (part of woolies)

The entries have been merged, with a note about the Mikro-Gen intended release taken from Andrew's reply in the thread.
