I started on the Speccy scene with a +3, bought by my parents from a long defunct computer shop that used to be in Liverpool Central station.
Other than being on its third drive belt, its still going strong.
Played with it for years on on and off since i got it.
I used it to experiment with digital logic years ago. (Made a PIO board with a pair of 8255's on it), it was awesome being able to program it from basic and save stuff to disk.
I even experimented with a hard drive, although didnt get very far with it, cos my z80 at that time was rather basic and hand-assembled. (These days i use Garry Lancaster's +3E roms and interface, cos there far better than i could do)
